Moose Lodge

Cottaging .... the way It's meant to be

Moose Lodge

“Moose Lodge” was originally built as a place for the owner to stay while she built the new log home and restored Barbie’s Bunkie. The experience of Glamping was something that she enjoyed so much, during her extensive travels throughout Africa, that she decided to create a wilderness glamping experience right here at Algonquin Moose Lodge. This authentic cabin comes complete with wood interior walls and stained glass windows. It boasts one double bed, one queen bed, with mosquit netting over both beds. Enjoy many comforts of home such as pots and pans, plates, and cutlery. Mini fridge, toaster oven, microwave oven, kitchen table and chairs, locking front door, and old fashioned antique wood burning stove. It is in this cabin where the moose and their presence are so vividly experienced as the cabin is located close to the pond where the moose make their way almost every night. The moose can often be found in the wee hours of the morning for a delight second to none for early risers. (Sleeps 4)

Absolutely stunning place! The space was perfect to host all of our friends for New Years and the privacy is amazing, which allowed for any activities and a relaxing weekend. Also loved the new additions of the pool table and tv setup. Thanks again for another awesome stay :)!!!

We stayed at this cottage with a large group of friends for a 3 day weekend. It was like staying at a cottage in actual winter wonderland. The cottage itself is extremely cozy and was able to comfortably accommodate a large group of adults. It was beautifully decorated, and you could really tell that an immense amount of effort went into hand picking each of the decorations. The high ceilings created a beautifully lit space, that made us never want to leave. The cottage was in a private location, but not too far away from the town. The privacy of the location only added to the charm overall. Being located in Algonquin Park, allowed us to go on several hikes during our stay. There is also a private lake on sight, which is perfect for the summer months. It was THE most beautiful cottage I had ever had a pleasure of staying in, and will gladly stay here again.
